Poet Narsinh Mehta and Mahatma Gandhiji, both rejected heaven. They wanted re-birth to serve the poor

Mahatma Gandhiji was influenced by poems of poet Narsinh Mehta.

Narsinh Mehta denied liberation and heavens. He wanted to come again and again in every birth so that he can live among the poor and can worship God for ever.

Mahatma Gandhiji also followed Narsinh Mehta model.

To him Heaven was not important for him. His wishes were to come again and again on Earth to serve the poor.
