Let Justice come to your doorsteps-Street Courts- Mobile Courts with power to persuade and resolve disputes

Indeed, UK is considering to evolve less costly Street Courts to resolve disputes.

Should we not consider similar initiatives to restore faith of people in Judiciary?

DailyMail online, reported today that Government is compiling a report to show public that it is not suffering from any paralysis of decision making. It is calling reports from each ministry. So that important policy decisions taken by it can be brought to notice of people.

If it is so, then the Law Ministry can suggest some initiative of setting up Street Courts, to resolves disputes between neighbours and petty disputes falling under Sec.323.IPC.

Such Courts may not have power to punish anyone. But it can have power to go and talk to the quarrelling parties and resolve their grouses and wounds. At present there is vacuum in this area. Most of mediation are in civil disputes.

But justice at your doorstop is really a good idea. It must appeal to people and Government both.

This will instantly, restore faith of people in Government and Judiciary both.
