How Citizens in U.S. and U.K. use twitter for Social Justice?

Yesterday, I wrote in blog that if Gandhiji were alive today, he might have advised people to tweet and retweet to awaken social awareness.

Now, look, following are some of the twitter accounts which appear to be citizen driven in advancing Social Justice in these countries by using twitter.

The first of this must appeal you immediately.

0. @FairBritain: Billions of pounds lost through tax avoidance and evasion could help plug the deficit. Spread the word and Register your protest with us.

1. @Equaljustice4us Proividing legal aid to needy

2.@usjusticewatch Watching the legal system

3.@GABSpeaks : A global voice for gender justice

4.@ChangeJustice, takes up issue relating to criminal justice.

5.@RestoreUK. The compaign to force MPs to restore death penalty in UK

6.@OJ_UK Aim to take snapshots of British Justice in 2012

7.@OSFJustice : Open Society for Justice initiative to promote human rights

8.@JusticeReform : Fellowship for criminal justice reform

10. @Senate4Britain Campaign for elected Upper House (Like our Rajya Sabha. Have we ever tried this method)

11. @ ChildAbuseWatch ; Protecting children from abuse through preventive information

12.@TaxJusticeNet : Promotes transperancy in International Finance and opposes secrecy.

13. @VictimRightLaw Provides free civil legal services to rape and sexual assault victims

Do we not have citizens who can take up such issues through Twitter?
