Yes. This is a story. Many Many Years Ago, there was country of people who always walked with their heads down. The population of country was about 1.21 billions.
In this country, it was taboo to walk with straight head. It was also a taboo to lift one's head and look at the sky. The King and his minsters also walked with always their head down.
One day, a man broke the taboo.
First, he lifted his head slightly, and looked straight. He looked around. He saw that everyone in the country was walking with their heads down. After looking around for a minute, he again bowed down his head and started walking with his head down.
After two days, he took up some more courage. He lifted his head slightly, looked straight and then he picked up courage and looked up! He saw a beautiful sky, with beautiful clouds.
He continued to look up at sky. Nothing happened. The people in this country were taught since centuries that Sky will fall, if you will look up at sky.
This man looked up fearfully at sky for about 5 long minutes. Nothing happened. The sky did not fall.
That night, he again gathered courage and looked up at sky. He saw that the night sky was full of beautiful stars and moon. He kept looking at sky for a full half an hour. Still, the sky did not fall.
Next day, he was a changed man. He started walking with his head straight. He also told other people that they should also stop walking with their heads down. No one believed him.
People rejected him as a sick man. People refused to believe his stories of clouds floating in sky and about the beautiful stars in sky.
It was imprinted in DNA of every one in that country, that they should always walk with their heads down.
The story ends here as of now.
Yesterday, somebody told me that I am sick man. First, I felt sad. And then I write this story to relieve my sadness.

P.S.: The story is inspired from a story which I read many years ago in some book of Father Wallace. The story is also inspired by a recent controversial statement attributed to former Cricket Coach Greg Chappell,
that "In India, Britishers have taught people to keep saluting. So that keep saluting."
